Endodontic dentistry deals specifically with diagnosis, treatment and prevention of bacteria inside the tooth. Bacteria attack the soft tissues that occupy the root canal space. A root canal procedure will limit the infection and stop it from destroying the tooth.

At Redwood Shores Dental Care we the invasive bacteria out of the root, fill it with a biocompatible material that soothes the area, then seal it back up again. We will top it off with a solid filling or a crown, and you’ll be as good as new.
